Awhile ago we were talking about port matching an LS6 intake (one of the sponsors will do this for you for ~$400) to ported heads. Has anyone tried it yet? I haven't had the time. I was able to look at a cut apart LS1 intake and I noticed there was at least 3/8" material between the ports (plenty to remove).
I need to pick up ~10-15rwhp from 5500-7000rpm. I'd love to get 5-6 of it with some more intake work.

Terry, my installer in Atlanta had his head guy do this and said it was very similar to the Cartek advertised porting.
I know this probably isn't the answer you're looking for (as I didn't do any before/after numbers), but I'm please with my overall package getting me to 11.6 @ 119 @ 3700# and a soft launch.
Good luck,
