Best headers for my setup?
Best headers for my setup? Ok, I am looking into a set of headers...here is some useful info......
-my car is lowered 2 inches
-LS1 Hotcam
-Lid
-catback for now
I soon plan on a LS6 intake and a true dual exhaust...with an X pipe and bullet mufflers...
I now trap at 111mph with the cam...what is the best header setup for me?
I WILL HAVE CLEARANCE ISSUES!
and I would like to keep the price reasonable, thanx

Re: Best headers for my setup? so the Hooker LT's would be a bad idea due to the potential clearance problem with the 2 inch drop?
I was thinking alot about the Macs...just wanted to know if there was anything else out there that would work for me...thanx

Re: Best headers for my setup? My SS is dropped 1.5". I'm getting rid of the lowering springs and going back to stock. My car launched a lot better with the stock springs and I need the clearence for my Hookers and custom y-pipe.

Re: Best headers for my setup? I have the G2 Springs and I'm goin with the Mac mid-length and I'm goin for the same package as you with the Hot Cam. LT's just aren't worth the money to bang up on speed bumps etc.
Re: Best headers for my setup? I can say that my MAC headers tuck up under the car just as good as my factory pieces did.
There is an opinion on the clearance of Mac headers for ya.
