EGR and AIR removal ?'s
EGR and AIR removal ?'s i havent gotten the block off plates yet but decided to go ahead and take all the crap off so all i have to do is put on the plates.
1) shouldnt i need 2 EGR plates? the kit only comes with one. one for the exhaust manifold and the other for the intake manifold right?
2) when i remove the AIR pump do i remove the smaller one next to it and the bracket?
3) if anyone could scan and email the instructions that come with the PACE block off kit that would be great too <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: EGR and AIR removal ?'s You dont get the plate for the intake manifold so you will have to plug that yourself. You will get two plates for the exhaust if you bought the air block offs. You can remove the entire air system, just remove the four bolts (if I remember right) and remove all the air pump stuff.

Re: EGR and AIR removal ?'s ok i got it all out and i will just buy a 1 3/8" expandable plug from pep boys to seal the intake egr hole since no sponsors make a plate for that.
Aggie it doesnt hurt anything, cleans up the engine bay and removes weight. you will get an SES light tho without tuning.
