Dealership is jerking me around with easy fixes Drop the car off this morning to fix:
1. Blown speaker.
2. Clutch return spring
3. Panel behind driver seat
Guy just called and said:
1. Speaker blown due to aftermarket head unit, your fault
2. Clutch does not have return springs, its your fault.
3. Will fix panel.
I dont care about the speaker, but the clutch is not supposed to go Creak creak squeek when you push it in. I told him I heard a snap, then it started doing it.
WTF. Why are they questioning me on a 2000 year model with 22000 miles on it. Just fix it and make me a happy customer.
What can I do?

Re: Dealership is jerking me around with easy fixes They HAVE to fix that spring if they won't you always could its pretty easy, but its annoying as hell to hear that sound all the time, I ended up breaking it again and I didn't get the sound, therefore I never replaced it... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Re: Dealership is jerking me around with easy fixes Tell the dealership there full of ****..there are springs on the pedal and tell them that they break and its common...mine broke when I bought mine with 4,500 miles on it, and now it broke again at 13,000 so I would tell them to do there job and fix it.

Re: Dealership is jerking me around with easy fixes just so you know....if the panel that needs adjustment is the same panel that the speaker is in, then the speaker probably isnt blown...i used to ALWAYS think the middle BIG speakers next to the rear seats were blown...all that was wrong were that the panels were loose and they needed to be tightened and adjusted...from there they worked perfectly. Even Chevy couldn't figure it out...I did it myself.
