Default Help with stupid fuel pump

Ok, I am feeling really stupid now. I just picked up a Walbro 392 inline pump. Which end is the inlet and which is the outlet?

Thanks

It's been a few years.. but they use to be marked.. small arrow on the npt fitting and aeromotive had it on the body of the pump.

Jeff....this may not be accurate, but shouldn't the inlet of the pump have some sort of screen to keep debris out of it??? If one end has a screen and the other doesn't then that may be your answer.

No screen here, this is an inline pump if that helps.

Outlet should be the end with the electrical connections.

Jeff....I just had a revelation....put some fuel line hose on both ends....submerge both lines in some gas then apply 12 volts...you will then be able to tell which is inlet and outlet

Why didn't I think of that before??!! Duh
