Default Catback hitting upper panhard is their a fix?

Ever since I put on my Magna Flow catback with hard launches I get a banging for the first 60ft or so.

I know the stock one was flat over the bend, what do I have to do to fix this.

Thanks

I have an extra special calibration tool I used to fix mine... a big a$$ crowbar Seriously, you can adjust the hangers by bending them a little and prying on the area of the intermediate pipe where it goes over the axle.

you can do two things....well 3. crowbar, muffler shop....or just take the UPPERpanhard out. i think a few dudes here are driving without it. if turning feels weird after removing it, you can put it back.

I took a hammmer a flattened the exhaust tube a little over the panhard rod. The catback will lengthen when hot so you have to see how far to flatten it. Also try to play with the exhaust hanger bolt right at that bend. Mine is a Corsa.

Hey Drew, You should be able to adjust it to fit. I've got a 4" mufflex single pipe and no bangin issues. It takes a while to get it perfect but it will come with some tweakin.

My 4" hit for about 3 weeks after I put it in but I took the stock metal "L" bracket and drilled a hole in it and mounted it straight to the hanger bracket. Not a problem since.

4" pipe is a big pipe

Later and good luck, Stu
