O2 sims are notoriously unreliable (including those I had years back) - and they are much too expensive to be replacing every 6 months.
You are better off getting the rear O2 sensor codes deleted from you PCM - this works forever without any problems. I am not sure what just that would cost but it might be cheaper than buying sims for even the first time.
