Default Hooker Headers, EGR, Air tubes???

I have a few questions about the hookers, EGR, and air tubes. I plan on buying a set of hookers for my 00 Z28 but the hookers were designed for 98-99 cars with different smog equip. I was wondering if I run the hookers if I can just run block off plates for the air tubes and EGR. I know it will throw an SES light but will it hurt performance? I would also need to block off the EGR on the intake. I dont have any issues with smog so I dont mind doing this, Im just not sure if it will work without hurting performance. As far as I know all you really need is Upper O2 sensors. Other than an SES would there be a problem with doing this?? TIA

No it is just an emissions thing. If you have emissions testing it might hurt ya other than that no problems.
