tech question????? I am putting on a set of mac headers and are going to go ahead and put new plugs ans plug wires in while the headers are out of the car. Iam getting the ngk plugs with the msd plug wires do i have to gap the spark plugs to if you can please help me? <img border="0" alt="[Chevrolet]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />
Re: tech question????? First off if your stock plug wires arent arching or torn up too bad I would save your money on the MSD wires. Second most of the time the plugs are already gapped correct when you get them. Unless you have a lot of mods then I would say just check them and not adjust them.
Re: tech question????? If you going with NGK TR55's most gap them at .050-.055
Wire aren't nessasary unless you have alot of miles, but alot of people like to change them at the same time..

The MSD's had only 27 ohms whereas the stock wires had 93.5 ohms...I'd throw on the MSD's while you are at it!!

Re: tech question????? hehe.. careful.. did you check each plug wire? They have been known to vary <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
