Default FTRA question

I just finished installing my FTRA the other night and one of my concerns about it was everyone saying that it would run a bit hotter. I notices that after I was done, even in stop and go traffic the car runs a bit cooler?! Does this sound a bit off the wall? Or could something have gone wrong?

In the summer you will see a slight change in temp.. not much to worry about IMO.

Mine runs a little warmer with the FTRA. Thankfully I have a fan switch so I don't worry about it. I see you also have a fan switch so you should have no worries.

My fan switch is on the way for the summer time but I thought it was a little odd that it actually ran colder once it was in. Wonder what caused it to do that?

I live in FL, and have never had a problem, if it get hot, just go faster NTW, you say hotter or colder, how are you verifying this? The factory "guage" is a joke, the "middle" is like a 60 degree range.

Using ATAP I was able to verify my car's coolant temp got as high as 230 degrees in the summer after my FTRA install. But then again, that's about the same as the air temperature out where I live!!

FTRA in AZ is a death trap.

Usually the manual fan switch runs the car at very acceptable temps. The problem is that with the stock programming, only one fans runs until the car hits about 220 F then the other fan kicks in. Since the FTRA blocks some air flow, the first fan doesn't do as good a job at keeping the car cool but once the 2nd fan kicks in, things are good

Lot of people running the kit all in CA, TX, FL and Hawaii...heck, even a few in Kuwait
