Porting MAF ?

Porting MAF ? How do you cut out the plastic bracket that holds the electronics w/ out breaking them?
Dremel the middle first?

Re: Porting MAF ? Use a cut off disc on your die grinder. If you have a dremel use a low speed setting of you will melt instead of cut. Hope that helped. Sam <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: Porting MAF ? To cut the plastic piece in the middle, simply take the hacksaw blade out of it's holder and cut very slowly and very carefully on that piece. That's how I did mine.

Re: Porting MAF ? ported mafs have been known to cause some problems on some cars. It all really depends on your specific car. I am holding off porting mine until I can ATAP it to see what the AF ratio looks like.
