ATI balancer question

I have an ATI balancer for my car(01 SS M6) and I cant find the right AC belt...the stock one is just a hair too long. anyone else have this problem or have a part number i can try?????

Is it the stock sized balancer? (I'm assuming so with your D1SC)

Easiest thing to do is to take the belt to an auto parts store and have them find you the next smallest size...that has worked for me quite well in the past.

i tried that....parts guys around here arent too bright.....the accesory belt fit perfect but the a/c pully seems to be smaller than the factory pully i dunno why.

This is what I used on the Vette, not sure its the same as an f-body. The ATI part numbers are wrong (guess you figured that out already).

A/C: Dayco 5040410
Drive: Dayco 5060790

How do those belts compare to the stock belts?

Slightly shorter, I have a 10% underdrive. I believe the last digits are length, the first are width. You could compare my numbers to the stock numbers and figure out how much shorter they are.

Okay...that's the part I was missing (the 10% underdrive part). I thought you were saying you bought the stock sized damper and had to get shorter belts, which had me kinda concerned.

Did you get the steel or aluminum hub?
