Default TB bypass

Im about to do the throttle body bypass for the coolant lines. Does the pcm need to be reset or can the mod just be done? I thought it did not have to be, but then read somewhere possibly that it did? Just checking here...

Just bypass it. That simple. No PCM issues to worry with.

Yep. Do it and don't worry about the PCM. The TB doesn't have any temp sensors going to the PCM to trigger a SES code.

I agree the coolant just runs through the throttle body like any piece of tubing. You are just taking that piece out and connceting the two ends.

Yea, plus he's in L.A. so I don't think it'll ever get cold enough for the TB to freeze up anyway.
