Hooker Y-Pipe update....
Hooker Y-Pipe update.... well as some of you know, i had a friend call up hooker and ask about the y-pipe a few weeks ago. i asked him to check up on things back then cause i wanted the hooker LT's. so i got the information about the tooling having to be redone because of bad fitment issues. so no big deal, let's see where they are now because of having purchased these headers. so i had the same bud call up his parts supplier, and have him call hooker. well he did and here is the response i got....
the hooker y-pipe has 116 preorders already. some of you probably. as of right now, there is enough to fill 11 of those orders. there is no ETA (estimated time of arrival) for the rest of them, or even all of them at this time. which most of the time means, it could be up to 6 months for the y-pipe.
so that is the information i've been given. I'll talk with my buddy and get the name of his contact at the parts supplier so if any of you have questions you could possibly talk to him as well. hope this helps some of you out. Mufflex should be racking in the dough now because of the situation. hopefully they will have theirs out and in production very soon.
