Default SES light on - Engine temp sensor module reading high voltage

my fan kicks on instantly after starting the car.. autotap read that the engine temp sensor module is reading 'high voltage'. any ideas?? maybe a short somewhere, fried the sensor?? If anything, does anyone know where this sensor is??

I might just take it in to fastech and have them check it out .. i planned on doing a window switch for the bottle.. might be a good time to have them double check my work.

any thoughts on this??

ECT sensor is front of drivers' side head. One of those little "obstacles" near #1 plug.
