Re: mac headers with offroads banging!!!?? Yeah I had the same problem, and it was solved by losening it up and pulling it down enough to clear it, and had the end welded. Re: mac headers with offroads banging!!!?? i did that like 3 times now and it still bangs no matter how low i put it!! can i put something in there to wedge it up??? can i make a hanger??? this is really annoying, and i feel like i cant fix it. i think it is the y-pipe, it is right underneath me so i think that is what it is, could it be the headers???i am so confused!!!

mac headers with offroads banging!!!?? i need to know how to fix this problem?? i got the mac headers with offroads, and it bangs bad when i rip it into second gear or if i do a burn out it bangs bad. i called the guys up at ls1 speed and they said that the ypipe is adjustable, i want to know if i can just loosen the bolts on the ypipe and not on the whole exhaust. its really annoying and i want this fixed so if anyone knows or has had similiar problems please give me some advice!!!! PLEASE!!!
