Electric cutout?

From: sojourning....looking for my city whose builder and maker is God.
Electric cutout? Sometime back I read a post on one of the forums about a electric cutout. Does anyone know anything about them. I would like to be able to flip a switch and open or close a cutout!

Re: Electric cutout? Re: Electric cutout? I just finished installing the Quicktime Version today........WOW, is it cool.....go from wide open to capped up in 5 seconds!!!!!!
I have a Borla catback, and have always run it with the open plate.....this was fine till I also removed the cats and installed ORP's (GOD Dam is that loud!!!!!) so anyways, I put on the electric cutout.....BIG DIFFERENCE......
On an side note.....depending who you talk to, the differences seem to be a matter of opinion...I actually talked to the guy @ MCcord, He says he is the one who made the original, and Quiktime stole the idea...I was going to buy from him(I like to help out the little guy) but I hate to wait and he said it would be a couple weeks before i got one from him. Lucky for me, Jason(EFA Board)had the quick time version in stock (yippee!!!) so I baught that one. Installed it today, and like i said in the beginning, it is great! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />

Re: Electric cutout? I just bought a used electric cutout. I'm going to put it in tomorrow. Where did you guys tap into for the power wire? I'm sure I can find a good wire, but I want to be positive before I remove everything.

When I had the other unit..it looked SOLID..very nice piece of work..

He even went the extra step to dig up a RED LED for the replacement unit.
It originally had a green led..I want the red one to match the interior dash..
Thats just too cool.. Customer service ROCKS.
Also..optionally keith can wire up (on request at a small additional charge) a stock GM rocker switch.
This would make it look totally OEM..

But I do have a McCord on order (again)
