slp 2OTL idea I am about to buy an exhaust system and was wondering whether or not this idea was feasible. Here goes: slp 2OTL with a cutout on the passengers side with either a McCord or QTEP cutout and then run a pipe and a dual outlet tip to the passenger side of the bumper (of course this would be hung with the factory hangers) and on the other side I would put matching tips on the other pipes. This is essentially the same thing as a borla, but I like the sound of SLP systems, and I know where I can pick up one of these systems for pretty cheap. Does this sound like more trouble than its worth?

Re: slp 2OTL idea Correct me if I am wrong, but the 2OTL is just slightly louder than the Dual Dual. That is why I was thinking of doing this, I have heard both and prefer the 2OTL, but I also like the look of dual outlets. It is just an idea right now, I like the Dual Dual alot and I may buy one of those, but I thought I would bounce this idea around first.

Re: slp 2OTL idea I found a good deal on the Dual Dual and it looks like I'll get it in a couple of weeks and I'll put a cut out on it. I still don't know if I'll put in the electric cutout though. I think that they can be partially open or closed instead of bein all the way opened or closed.
Re: slp 2OTL idea I think you have a great idea! Having a piece of 3" pipe bent to fit out the back would probably cost less than $50 making it much cheaper than a new SLP dual-dual and probably even cheaper than a used one. You would also get the heat and noise from the cut-out out from under the car while generating only a negligible amount of added back pressure.

Re: slp 2OTL idea Well, I found a Dual Dual for well under 200 and I want have to have it shipped, so I think I am not gonna use this idea, but it is out there for anybody else that has the system and wants to modify it.
