Put headers on with LM2 and car is WAY to loud....suggestions....

are there any quieter mufflers than the loudmouth II muffler?? the borla Xr1 is still pretty loud i believe, are there any other mufflers i can put on to quiet this ***** down a little bit??? i know cats will quiet it down but im not putting them on so....

you could try a dynomax chamberd style... or some other type of turbo mufler...good luck

I put mine on a few days ago with a cam and its not that loud. It actually sounds good and only gets loud until I get on it.

I'm working on a clip of mine but bad6as has clips of his on streetfire. Just look it up by his last name "brumley". I hope that helps.

i guess its not the fact that its too loud but the fact it sounds like a damn 1/2 ton chevy truck with nasty exhaust. I'm kinda wondering if the dual dual tips that i have are maiking it 'rap' the way it does.....do you guys think the tips would have that big of an effect on the sound???

I just got my ory and long tubes installed with my borla, and omg does it get raspy as hell around 2.5k-3k rpm. So changing out the borla will help?

So any luck? When I first put mine on it was loud but after driving it for 3 weeks it has broken in and quieter again.

I thought I'd made a huge mistake when I first put my Kooks Long Tubes on the CTS-V. I'm loving it now, and I'm not sure if it got quieter once the cats burned in or if I just got used to it.

Either way, give it a little time and see what happens.
