Default hooker headers

I work at pepboys and i was looking through our catalogs and i went through the flowtech catalog and gave them a call i seen some nice headers for my 2000 black ss m6 they said they cost $282.00 is that a good price? they were hooker headers, anyways i was just checking around who could put them in for me and i ran in to a shop called speedquest and they said they could put them on for $250.00 is that a good price? thanks!

I work at advaned and im pretty sure Ive looked in the same catalog, To begin with hooker and flowtechs ARE NOT THE SAME. I can almost guarentee that the 280 is for the flowtechs, which have thinner flanges then the hooker basically a cheaper version. $250 for the install is a good price If you dont wanna do it yourself, but as far as the headers go I would just order pacesetters, you can get them 500 shipped for the headers (which are coated) and a Y pipe, and the flanges are thicker and IMO and from what Ive read on here are ALOT better header

Hookers would not be in the flowtech book that is for sure. The part number will start with a 2 if it is a hooker header.

Are those the stainless steel ones, or just ceramic coated?
