Walked out into the shop last night and some moron neglected to watch where he was walking and knocked my radiator over on y tool cart. No significant damage except for the the plastic nipple that comes off the tank and goes to the overflow tank on the passenger side. This piece is broke off almost flush with the tank on the radiator. Since the tank is plastic I was unsure what to do other than possible drill the nipple out run a tap through the plastic. Put a pipe thread to AN conversion nipple on both the radiator and the overflow tank and run a stainless braided line. Do you guys think I would have an issu with this? Should I be able to get all the plastic shavings out? Would you recommend against doing this? Just trying to figure out what to do I'm really not in the mood to be an aluminum one right now.
Thanks

No problem.. that's what us Directors are here for <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I would break out a local phone book and look for a place that repairs radiators.. they could ethier fix it.. or replace that end piece.

I don't know if you can fix yours, but I had a deer incident last year that caused a fitting on the opposite (plastic!) tank to break. I just had a radiator shop replace the tank on that side. Don't remember the cost, though. Actually all he had was one for another model car with an extra fitting that he put a rubber expansion plug in the extra hole to seal it.
