need opion! true duals?

need opion! true duals? Right now im working at a exhuast shop. I have access to building true duals.. but have a couple questions.. first of all would it be ok to run straight outs the cats to the front of the back tires?? i no it might be a little loud but thats what i want.. but the muffler guy says u might need some back presure?? but im not sure cuz if i leave those cats in then i think i'd be fine??? and another quesion is how big should i go?? 2.5" dual? or 3"? should i make a custom H pipe or X pipe?? just have to seperate pipes? and for my last question does n e one think it would look ok to run the exhuast right under the door like the old days? the pipes are made of aluminum so i can polish them up like chromre? or do u think this would ruin the look of the car? right now i got cat back borla.. eitehr way i wana keep that system.. i wanted to get an off road pipe but relized for half the price i can get this dual made up.. what do u guys think?

xpipe=more torque than an hpipe i believe
I have a 3" dual w/ xpipe and i felt like I lost some low end torque.....however, up top it rocks. You won't need a dual 3" unless you plan on going with at least heads and cam or a bigger motor.

'99 SS. He is running longtube headers, and at the end of the headers the are welding right into what looks like small Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. THATS IT!
I havn't got a close look, but I havnt seen any cats. It sounds mean but REALLY LOUD!

Re: need opion! true duals? First off you don't need backpressure. If you do that exhaust your powerband might get moved up. I did an H pipe not an X after consulting a lot of folks and they all said that the gains would be the same.
