Mac Headers w/ ORP and Magna flo exhaust.
First off the collector is where the 2 pieces of the Y pipe come together, and the catback attaches into the collector. A lot of the older MAC Y pipes were too small at that place, and they would rattle around inside the aftermarket catbacks <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> The newer MAC Y's might fit better. If you put your ORP on and see it rattles inside the catback, there are 2 things you can do. I took mine to an exhaust shop and they took the Y off and spread one end of it open more with the pipe expander. Sealed it with a bead of some kind of orange goo and problem solved. The other option is getting an aftermarket collector and having it welded in place of the MAC collector. Or an exhaust shop could make an adaptor, flange/crimp a pipe that slips over your 3" catback and over the smaller MAC Y.
I'd put it together first and see if anything needed done. The cheapest will be to just take it to muffler shop and have the Y expanded, but it can only be spread so much...
