I just read, and remember reading in the past, how in higher HP apps, the MACs put down better numbers than LTs? Anyone have any threads or hardcore info that would lead to this conclusion?
For instance, if I bolted up the S2 heads, a G5 cam (hehe), and the MACs (or Hookers) with true duals, would I be putting more power down than if I did the same, only with LTs?
Thanks!
Nick

macs are great, but i would say go with the hookers and have a custom 3" ypipe or xpipe made up... The long tubes will be more fun around town and with your setup it looks you shouldnt have any problem with airflow.. The macs are a good header for the money and most people wont lose much or any hp on top of the rpm band with the macs over the longtubes which most of us only use when racing... could help your 60's with the longtubes, through.
