Default Header Install

Im about to install my pacesetters and was wondering what else i need for the install?

i dont need rear o2 sims cuz im getting them tuned...

advice is greatly appreciated

you need a buddy to help, believe me that will make a world of difference. Also you will need 4 jackstand and a good jack, and probably some 4x4 blocks if your jack isn't big enough to get the car high enough off the ground. I just reused my factory manifold gaskets and no leaks (13,000 miles on the gaskets). I just installed slp's on mine, but they are alot harder to install than the pacesetters from what i hear, and i believe it.

^^^ excellent write up...I wish I would have seen that when I was about to install mine. I have Pacesetters on my car, and they were easy to install. Somewhat time consuming, but easy. You can reuse your stock gaskets. I bought new GM ones, but that's because I didn't realize how durable those stock ones really are. Other than that, O2 extensions and you should be set to go.

Then you'll honestly laugh at how easy it'll be IMO. I would def. take your time, but you don't need to be an astrophysicist to do a header install. Watch the dipstick, mine was a total pain in the ***... What you need doesn't change, but the logistical aspect is easier without the car being on jacks. Good luck.

The dipstick is underrated as a pain, it is just in the way! ( currently doing a header swap now, waiting on new headers)
