Need help with fuel system problem
Need help with fuel system problem Ok heres my problem last time out at the track i ran 110 octane leaded race gas. car ran fine at the track but after the 5 gal. i had in it was close to gone the car would bearly run(no ses lights) so i checked my fuel pressure 30psi. so i figure my fuel pump was dying so i replaced it with the racetronix setup. started it up and im still getting some low-rpm missfires and bank 2 is WAY lean, ltrims on B1 almost 0 on B2 25 and i get a code p0171(lean B2). Anyone got any ideas: injectors maybe or that little regulator lookin like thing on the fuel rail. BTW replaced O2's already

Re: Need help with fuel system problem Didn't see a mods list. If you're still running cats I betcha the race gas did them in.
Fuel filter ? Burned injector tips ?

Re: Need help with fuel system problem The little item on the fuel rail is a pulsator / dampener. It is designed to reduce injector noise. This will not cause your problem.
I would start with your spark plugs as mentioned above. A quick call to ARE might be a good idea if you have trouble isolating the problem.

Re: Need help with fuel system problem Thanks for the replies guys. My car dosent have cats. already changed fuel filter, and plugs. going to buy 2 new O2's today and pull my injectors in take a look.
If my injector tips are burned, is there anything i can do to fix them, or are thy junk?

PS. The F-Body L98/TPI and LT1 PnP fuel systems are now shipping through authorized dealers.
The LS1 single F-body PnP system is in protype stages and hopefully will be available any week now. The C5 pump hit and PnP harness is now available but at this time requires the fuel module to be sent in for retrofit.
