Exhaust Flow Question, Please Help Me!!!!!

Exhaust Flow Question, Please Help Me!!!!! Hello all. I just got a 2002 ZS28,a4,273, stripper. I did the flowmaster collector in the stock y-pipe, and a cutout after the axle bend. I am looking for the most bang for the buck, and to get down the 1/4 mile faster. Here are my questions:
1) Will there be a difference in et if I put in a 3"i-pipe to replace the factory 2.75" pipe?
2) Should I change the muffler at all if I run a open cutout at the track?
3) Should I invest in a hooker catback or used slp dual/dual and just transfer the cutout to the new 3" i-pipe?

Re: Exhaust Flow Question, Please Help Me!!!!! You might see some benifit from a large I pipe. Most cat-backs come with a 3" I pipe. If like to quiet sound of the stock catback. I say leave it alone. Your money would be better spent else where.
