thanks guys for all of your comments, and ideas. i can atleast go out and get the process started by sanding and priming the intake and then i will decide about a color. still leaning towards either black/red or gun metal/red...

a project deadline at work, softball (when it wasnt rained out), installing LCA's and PH Bar, and painting the calipers kinda made painting the intake take a little longer than 1st thought...
