Descreened MAF Conclusions...
I went out and purchased another stock screened MAF, and immediately after switching to the screened MAF, my car shifted like normal again.
So, my car did not respond well to the descreened MAF (at least not without some way to bump the tranny pressure back up). Thanks to all that helped (especially Dan, who sold me the MAF)! I will try it again when LS1edit comes out for 2002s.

<strong>Interesting observation. I know BradWS6 descreened the MAF on his '98 Formula and I think he ran a tenth or 2 slower. Some cars like 'em, some cars don't. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ahhh . . . the age old battle with EFI/PCM cars <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
