Re: 200mph speedo for T/A? I am not at all happy with the Granatelli 200 mph speedometer in my T/A. First it took considerably longer to convert than promised, so I was without my car for almost 2 weeks. Then once I got it in, the overlay started bubbling up the next day. Right now there is a bubble over almost every number and line. It looks like a$$! Granatelli said it is a protective film they were supposed to remove before shipping, and wants me to disassemble the cluster, and peel the film back using a razor blade around the needles. On top of that, my tach now reads considerably slower than before, like 100-150 rpm lower at idle, and it hits the rev limiter at an indicated 5800 rpm in every gear (used to bounce at 6200 with stock gauges). In a T/A, there is also a hole where the pin that stops the needle would go on a Camaro, but the T/A has it on the overlay. Light shows through the hole at night. I will try to post a picture of it later today. I plan to take it apart and fix it tomorrow. If I had it to do over again, I would leave the gauges stock! You can get it converted for $225 here.

Re: 200mph speedo for T/A? Thanks for the picture 98_1LE. It does look like they left a overlay on your cluster. It seems to me that they should repair it and give you some of your money back for your trouble.
Re: 200mph speedo for T/A? While I agree with you, they don't seem to, so I am just going to live with it. I am sure that they get it right most of the time. Here is a closeup of the cluster in a larger resolution.
