Grots vs. Dynatechs

I considered both, but the Dynatechs are stepped which means the whole header isn't 1 7/8 like the Grots...

In case you didnt know, they are stepped for a reason. The exhaust exits the combustion chamber into the 1.75" piping when it has the greatest temperature as well as velocity, then tapers into the larger 1.875" piping to improve flow later on down the header. This helps to fight the loss of tq experienced when going to a full 1.875" header.

the guy who installed them said that the drivers side was a bitch to install.

That was the easiest side. Installed a set of Grotts on a friends 02 Firehawk a couple of weeks ago and it only took he and I a little over 1 1/2 hours to remove all the stock stuff (manifold, y-pipe etc.) and install the Grotts, Y-Pipe and new plug wires. I was amazed at how easy and quick they went in compaired to the SLP headers we installed last year. You can find pictures of the install by clicking on the link in my sig and look under misc.
