Mufflex - vrs - SLP Dual Daul Hp difference I am thinking of taking off my 4'Mufflex single out and going to a SLP Dual Dual exhaust I already have the SLP exhaust im just undecided on taking off the Mufflex off due to horsepower loss. I am planning on putting a cut out with the SLP system. I am sure the slp is probably 20lbs lighter so that equals 2 xtra hp already <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Mufflex - vrs - SLP Dual Daul Hp difference I had the 3.5" Mufflex dual-outlet w/ the Spintech muffler on my SS for a little while, but it got too loud for my liking. I swapped over to the SLP dual/dual, and I didn't lose any ET or MPH. Like I posted in another thread, with stock internals I track-tested the dual/dual vs. the cutout three different times w/ no reduction in ET or gain in MPH w/ the cutout open. It also makes my cam nice and stealthy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

You can't even hear the cam in my car, maybe unless you pressed an ear up against the tail pipe, when I open the cutout though, its a different story.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
