starter/starting problem ..Help!!
starter/starting problem ..Help!! Ok suddenly...the starter motor is spinning and it looks like the belts on the engine are spinning but the starter is making a weird sound and it feels like maybe the starter is spinning too slow or something..? It will not start the car...
Anyone had a starter go out and it acted like this?

Re: starter/starting problem ..Help!! If the throw out bearing goes on your starter, it will make a strange rattling noise, and the engine will barely turn over (sometimes it won't turn over at all)
This is something that is usually associated with older cars though. This also is a problem that creeps up on you. It usually doesn't just "All of a sudden"

Re: starter/starting problem ..Help!! Could be a crappy starter solenoid. BUT I would get the battery checked out first, simply because it's easy (and usually free at parts stores). If you have the stock AC battery take a real good look at your positive cable when you take it off the battery. A lot of these batteries are known to leak.Mine did.
