couple of ? about header install.

couple of ? about header install. I just got my pacesetter headers back from getting ceramic coated and am getting ready to install them. First should I use the new gaskets or just reuse the stock ones. Second is should I change my sparkplugs because they are the original ones. It's an 02 with 36K miles on it.

Lots of guys use the stock gaskets but I used new Felpro gaskets, that part is up to you my friend. And you might as well change your spark plugs while your in there IMO it wont hurt. I also went with a bigger spark plug wire but its not really a must. As for the install take your time, and DONT use any type of air tools to take off the bolts (trust me) and I hope you have been soaking them bolts in BP blaster or Liquid wrench cause that will make them easy to get off. If you can get a buddy to help it makes it alot more stress free. There are tons of write ups you can follow an there pretty straight forward JUST TAKE YOUR TIME. Lots of guys clam they can do in 2 hours but take as much time as you need its not a race.

I sprayed mine the NIGHT BEFORE with PB blaster, and I mean I BATHED them... came out easy. Leave the air tools on the shelf for this one IMO, save for tightening the clamps on the y-pipe or duals.-J

doing one right now - stock things (still have two bolts left on passengers then dropping the Y/header kit because its all rusted to eachother) took about 7 hours. Still waiting on my jet hots to come in approx. tommorow.
