Experience with Electric Cutouts please!!
I have looked at the Quicktimeperformance.com and Mccord Power plate both.
My question to you all, have any of your experienced problems with leakage when closed?

How long ago did he release the 2nd series of this product?
Anyone else have a non-leaking Mccord? I want to make sure before I purchase this product

He managed to dig up a RED LED ver's the green he offers now.. He also put an inline connector to remove the plate for the winter..
I sent mine back because of mounting concerns..
I was concerned about leakage...
I sent em some illustrations ...pics of how I want it done with the rod on the outside...so as to elminate any possible leakage thru the rod that goes thru the plate body..
This is a pic of it on my car...(rod on the inside)
But I needed the body reversed..

He offered to reverse the body for me and refab it
He has no problem doing it for me..
I boxed it up and sent it back..

Anyone else feel free to comment on their personal experiences too!!
I was on a waiting list for a GP that he did. He was really cool and emailed me to let me know that I was on the waiting list, and that if anybody dropped off, then he would put my name on the list. He asked me to shoot him an email in a couple of weeks to remind him. Well, this went on for about a month. Everytime I email him, he tells me to email him in a couple of weeks because he is nearly finished. Finally, he emails me and says that my name is now on the list. Of course I am overjoyed. I email him back and ask him how he wants me to pay him. No response. I email him every Friday for a month and never recieve a reply after he told me I was on the list. Finally I just gave up on him. That was about 6 weeks ago. I guess he didn't want my money. I hear everyone talk about how cool he is on customer service, but if he didn't want to include me on the GP, he shouldn't have kept telling me to email him and remind him. I know that Quick Time will probably be making a GP on these soon, and they are now a sponsor on this site. I will be waiting to give them my business when they decide to have a GP. On a side note, this is not a thread to bash anyone. It is just what happened to me. I know that there are lots of people who have had great dealings with him. Good luck on your choice.
If you study the thing carefully(especially the contact patch between body and butterfly) you'll see it makes no difference whatsoever which side the rod is mounted on, which speaks doubly good for Keith who did it for you anyway. Keith will absolutely go out of his way for a customer.
Update. The only thing separating Mad Scientist from his MPPII was his payment! Which, I understand was requested of him more than once. Not paying will certainly stop shipment of just about everything in this world. No $, no product.

Figured as much. This didn't sound like Keith at all. Hell, he went out of his way to get me a unit on very short notice when he was pretty backed up.
