Default Car runs like poop!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i got a hell of a tranny in it now but the car is not running that good since i've put it in. The only thing i have changed is i had the hypertech programmer before but had to get the computer reprogrammed by gm. Does the hyper tech help that much? The car doesnt wind up as quick as it used to nor does it pull as hard. I also took the x-pipe off and put the mufflers under the seat out of the manifolds. I also did change the plugs today hoping that would help but it still is the same as before.

Thanks
Brandon

To tell you the truth, a hypertech is not gonna "help" at all. Ya you can change your shift point's and lower your fan kick on temp. But actually help, nope. As far as why it is running like poop, I am not sure.

When you put the new tranny in and tightened everything up did you restart it and let the pcm relearn itself?

If GM programmed the computer it will not have any of the settings in it from the hypertech, this happens when ever they touch the car, they flash the computer

Were you using the HPP3 to increase shift firmness/line pressure? If you didn't return it to stock, then let them reprogram it - it's probably gone.

Yes i did start it and let the pcm relearn itself.

i was using it for the shift firmness only not the shift points.
Thats why i had to have the dealership flash the computer because i now have a transgo shift kit. I didnt change anything else with the programmer. Is the exhaust maybe doing it??
