Question need some exhaust help please

hey guys i need your help.
im going to make a custom exhaust for my car and here is the plan.
i was wanting a loudmouth 2 but i dont like the look of tips on my car so i dont need those.
my car already has a 3inch catback that is very quiet and i dont know what brand it is it dont say any thing on it.
so i am going to order the lm2 muffler and a flowmaster y colector and use the pipe thats already there.
ill put the muffler in the i pipe just like the lm2 and put the y colector right after the pipe comes over the axel and have the exhaust shop bend up a few pipes after the colector and run some hiden tips under the car at the stock exits.
now for my 2nd idea will it be louder if i skip useing the y colector and just runing 1 single hiden tip under the bumper on the passenger side and not runing any pipe to the drivers side just like a single exhaust?
i think that the 2nd idea will flow very well but im not shure how loud it will be.
the first way shoud sound just like a lm2 but the 2nd way will be cheaper and lighter[wont have to buy the y.
i need to fix my exhaust so please chime in every one.
thanks

if you want louder got with the 2nd route, but having 1 dump is gonna do much in the way of hp, maybe like 3 tops so base it on how loud you wanna be

Not sure if I'm following you...your first option is basically a LM2 with dual rear exits and the second option is a LM2 with just one exit on the passenger side? I wouldn't think there would be too much of a difference in sound between those.

yep the 2nd option is basicly a lm2 but with out the dual exits.
it will just be a straight pipe over the axel like the lm2 but it wont split up with the y it will just come up over the axel an go straight to the rear bumper and it will have like a hiden tip.
i just figured the1st option would be quieter be cause it will split up

No, I don't think there would be too much difference in the sound or flow between the two.
