Has anyone heard of DNA Mufflers (Direct Natural Airflow)? I have been running the loudmouth on my TA for a little while now and hate it. I have been considering running one of the DNA Bullet Style Mufflers in place of the Resonator. Its just that I have never heard one of them on an F-Body and was hoping someone has ran one or has heard the muffler on someone elses car. Any opinions???

 

Most bullets sound alike. If you hate your loudmouth I would suggest getting a chambered muffler or a spiral flow bullet.

 

From the soundclips that I have heard, the DNA sounds more like a chambered muffler. Its not a straight through design like most bullets.

So whats the general opinion of these mufflers??? I am just trying to decide if i should take the time to find a bullet style muffler that will fit in place of the LM1 Resonator, or if i should just have my local shop fab up some true duals over the axle. They gave me a quote for $800 installed including materials (piping, mufflers, etc...). Think its worth the money? Or should i toss on a DNA?
