Anyone try this???....
If i do it ill vent it into the exhaust after the 1st 02 sensor (since i have no cats and no 2nd 02 sensor) on the pass side exhaust...
no more smell or huffing of oil fumes comming from under the hood with this method..
I have a loosley built n20 motor and I get blow by and need a way to figure out the best solution for now.
eventualy ill get a vac pump but 4 now i need alternatives.
pros & cons please
ok guys gimmie ur honest opinions...
thanks
there is a reason people stopped doing this.. i can imagine that thing catching fire from the oil vapor and oil residue inside the tube...

I do use that one!
all im gettin is stupid answers... i thought this was a tech site.... boy was i wrong
Your right and your wrong. None of these guys run a race breather setup, so they are not familiar with how it works apparently. I do, and installed it myself. Your also wrong because through all the childish posts there are people that are loaded with good info.
1st off....IT IS NOT going to catch fire. I run it on my loose rang nitrous motor as well. Works really well for serious blow-by issues. You have to either modify your valve covers or get new ones that have the provision. There is a check valve in the system so you are not in danger of catching things on fire. Stuff comes out, nothing goes back up. Let me show you a picture of the set I have on mine and see if this is what you are talking about.

If so, they are like 30$ from just about anywhere. I know Moroso and Mr. Gasket makes them and a sponsor can probably get them for you within that price range. They come with the bungs that are to be welded to the collectors, 2 check valves, and the breather caps for the valve covers with attachment provisions. You gotta get your own hoses though.
I run a braided hose on mine hoping not to have it melt on me.

Hope that is some help to you.
remember there are no stupid answers just stupid questions...
i think it could work, and its worked for other people, but i believe you could come up with a better system

Thanks Jacob, I hope I did save our rep. It does work really well, and for the price it is better than a pump. You are already using stuff that your motor produces as well, for free. On the dyno with a 375 squeeze I have watched my braided lines start to flatten out from pressure!

Not to rip on you tainted, but...
!damn ive never experienced that dealing with dyno'd cars....ehhh whatever works best for him then....
No, it is called an EVAC system! READ UP ON IT ROOKIE!
im doing that now actually you dork...
I thought he was blabbling about the oil consumption issue or something thats why I suggested catch can, but now that I see what the hell he meant im reading up on it and LEARNING something from it

Well, you can add that feather to your cap now.

Fix your car for crying out loud before I delete your thread.
