You can also port & polish the throttle body and grind the bump stop down, or hire it out. There are sponsors on this site that can do it for you for about $100 like http://www.performancethrottlebodies.com/
For purchases, I recommend starting with an airbox lid. They're affordable at about $100 shipped, and provide a good starting point. You have the LS6 intake, so I'd leave it alone for now.
I didn't see your tranny type posted, but if it's auto then a stall will make you considerably faster, but not add HP. A stall will cost $500-700, but will make a big difference.
Another option would be to put on dual exhaust. If you want loud, you can add headers and have an exhaust shop run pipes to dump before the rear axle and put turndowns on them for close to what a stall would run.

Loads of power, but not a very streetable cam for the average driver though. Look at the power band. For an auto, you'd need a stall first.
