idle problems with shaners?

idle problems with shaners? having an issue here. my aic valve is running 100% (i think thats what its called) and im still not getting enough air to idle correct. setup is a LS1 with a 226 112 xer cam. has anyone else had this issue?
we put it in open loop and pulled the intake and the little hole thats smoothed and drilled from shaners is making a massive sucking noise. it almomst seems like theres no way its pulling the air it wants. if i plug the hole with my finger it dies immediatly. im putting on a stocker later today to make sure this is the problem but its the only thing we can think of.

guess its not as common as i thought it was...does anyone know where the shaners site went? i was guna call them to ask if they have ever heard of this problem but i cant seem to find it. i thought it was s2performance.com or something like that.
