running on 7?

running on 7? after my header install my dad says my car sounds like its not running on all 8...
so i opened u0p the hood and looked around and all the wires seem to be on just fine...
shouldnt i be throwing a missfire code if i was? One side is backfiring like no other... so maybe that could be it i thought it might just be cuz i have a bad o2 sensor im about to replace...

my car was running llike **** and missfiring, running on 7 cylinders and all it was, was an o2 sensor....replaced both with bosch 13111 and problem gone.....try getting it scanned for codes first before you start replacing anything

i have the 13111's and i know that the passanger side, which is the problem side right now, is throwing a slow reaction code.. im pulling it out tomorrow and taking it to get a new one so hopefully that is it
