Default Electric water pump questions

Ok, after my last track outing, my harmonic balancer decided to attack my stock water pump...lol. The pump is fine, but one spot on the pulley got hit and now when i spin it, you see one area that spins ever so slightly off center, so im pretty sure that will cause belt issues if i dont address it now.

The pump only had 1300 miles on it too so im a lil annoyed. And since the pulley is pressed on, i assume just swapping pulleys isnt a real option. anyways. I figure if i have to change it, i might as well do an electric water pump. I have read all the install instructions and it seems pretty straight forward. I basically built my whole motor and installed it, so a water pump would be nothing big for me anyway. Are there any known issues when going to an electric pump? The motor is a LS6 and I have most of the common bolt ons already along with a decent size cam so i figure if i can get another 10hp by going to an electric WP, why not. The biggest part that upsets me is the coolant system is great right now and i dont wanna drain it but i really dont have a choice.

What is everyone opinion of the electric WP? anyone against it?
