Anyone using flex joints in their exhaust?

Just curious whether anyone has tried incorporating flex joints like this into an aftermarket exhaust to prevent excessive movement when the engine torques? Seems like a pair of these installed just behind the collectors would work well to prevent banging on the floorpan on those setups that are tucked up close...

I think a flex joint is a very very good idea. In fact, I have a 3" X 8" piece that was going to be used on my old 89 TTA. I am thinking about installing it where the FLP LT y-pipe attaches to the SLP Cat-back intermediate pipe.
