yeah i saw it, but everyone said the raptor is a very simple install so i thought, maybee it was easyer than Installuniversitys writeup.....

Yeah, I guess that one could be a little complex. I just dropped the panel on the passenger side floor board to get to the grommet. Removed the PCM in the engine bay. The Raptor has a coated wire that is like 6 ft long it seems. I tapped power from my TCS switch, ground it on the chassis of the radio and ran the tach lead from the grommet to the green wire. All the connections are behind the TCS switch. I think if you wanted to mount one inside a vent it would be a little more time consuming.
