Is this a LS1 intake or LS6 intake?? Please help. Hi Guys,
I just bought a used Intake manifold and it doesnt have EGR but the bottom is flat like the LS6 intake manifold but the part# isnt the LS6 intake's part # and niether a LS1 intake, I cant seem to find which one it is. LS1 or LS6 intake? Part# is 12561184

according to Pace Parts, the right part # is 88894339 - 2002 ZO6 (LS6) Intake Manifold

Re: Is this a LS1 intake or LS6 intake?? Please help. Didn't the '02 f-body LS6 intake manifolds have a different part #? I remember a post not too long ago where one of our sponsors noted how that particular manifold outflowed the LS6 slightly.

What you have pictured appears to be legit. It's probably an '01-02 F-car intake.
The black paint looks nice, BTW. I've thought about painting mine black as well.

Re: Is this a LS1 intake or LS6 intake?? Please help. FWIW, this is the part number on mine, too. I was told that part number is an old Canadian part number for the F-car "LS6" manifold that GM replaced with the one that starts with all the eights. Hope this helps.
