Default Ls6 Intake Evap thingy question

I just put an LS6 intake on my car. My car has had all emissions crap programmed out of it. My question though is that hard plastic line on the side of the intake up near the front that runs into that plastic regulator type looking thing that has a fuel line running into it and also one of the injectors apparently plugs in to it also. Hopefully that was descriptive enough. This intake had that hole plugged off so just for the meantime I sealed up that evap regulator thingy with some tape. The car runs fine, but it is obviously running rather fat and doesn't seem to be making full power either, I assume as a result of the fat condition. My question is this..what can I do about that crap over there or should I just re-tap that hole in the intake and run the line to it. The way it is now is def messing with the car so I need to know what steps to take here. I'd prefer to just get rid of that all together, but don't care about re connecting it if need be. Kind of confusing since the injector is involved in it and I couldn't see a logical way of removing that system since its on the end of a big old fuel line as well. Am I even right in calling it an evap? I assume thats what it is, acting as a return.

Thanks in advance.
Sean

That black plastic "thingy" is the Fuel Vapor Purge Valve. I have an LS6 intake on my 98 TA. The hole in the manifold that the plasic hard line from the purge valve is there. I have not seen an LS6 intake without the hole. I think I would look at your original manifold and see how the hole is made in it and drill your new manifold. I know the line does not thread in the hole. It just pushes in.

The electical connector to the valve is not part of the fuel injector harness. This Vapor Purge system is in no way connected to the fuel injector system that I am aware of.
