00 ls1 throttle fit a 99 ls1 ?

Default 00 ls1 throttle fit a 99 ls1 ?

Hey guys & girls. I need to find out if a 2000 ls1 throttle body will fit a 1999 ls1 ? I'm trying to find out quick because of a pending sale. Thanks for any replys..John

....after you swap the throttle shaft out. The 98-99 TB is the same and the 00-04 TB is the same, the difference between the 98-99 and 00-04 is the throttle shaft.....and the return spring but thats no biggie.

How hard is it to change out a throttle shaft ? I've never done that so I was just wondering. Thanks for all the help. This site rocks !!!

Take the TPS off(t20) and take the blade out(t15) and there will be a ring pressed on the end of the shaft just under were the TPS was. Just take a rubber hammer/dead blow/brass hammer and hit on the shaft and it will knock it on out and the lock ring will pop off at the same time. You can take a deepwell socket and knock the ring back on or do like me and most others and just leave it off

truck tb from a 6.0 is 80mm car ones are 75 i think
