How do you weigh in on de-screening the stock MAF, Bo?

Oh, and what is "port matching?" Do you do that?

If a person with a stock '99 LS1 w/LS6 intake and lid, what else would you recommend doing at the same time, if anything?

I'm getting ready to do a cam install and am thinking about porting my TB at the same time.

Port the TB if you dont already have it done. I do not have any truck cores. Descreening of the MAF is the first thing I do to my cars.

Good to see you porting again. I'll have to give a shout when I'm ready for some heads to be done.

You still working out of your "top-notch machining facility?"

All of the top porters do about the same overall. Some are pretty, some have this done and some have that done: the way I look at it is you port a TB for a reason- maximum performance with the right amount of porting and modifications. Ive tried it all and left stuff not done to see what really works and what dont and what I do is the end product.
