Well due to an enormous amount of you guys who like the MSD's I guess I'll go with those. And I like the black wires too...I had the black MSD's on my last fbody. I like to keep a clean engine bay. So what gap do the NGK's usually come with when you buy them from the parts store? Or are they pregapped to 55?

Don't get the taylor's. They will break the first time you try to remove them.

Maybe you got a bad set? I just changed my plugs and I was worried about breaking a wire but I never did and the things sounded like a gun shot everytime i put them back on..over 20,000 miles on them

the wires migth help a lil, more because your replacing the stockers that are old with a better new part.

and imo the msd coils arnt worth it, as an upgrade but ok for a replacement

The MSD's can't take the heat from LT's I recommend taylor spiro pro wires which can stand the heat from the headers.

Black Taylors (for stock look also) and Delco Iridiums. Very happy so far, nothing's broken yet, maybe they've been improved?
